One of the easiest swaps, and first swaps I did, was to look at ingredients in my household cleaners and swap them out with better alternatives. This is so important because the chemical ‘fragrance’, florescent dyes, and chemical compounds used to break down dirt stay on our surfaces well after cleaning.
Many of these things sit on our surfaces, are breathed into our lungs, and absorbed into our skin. There’s a common misconception that swapping products to something that is ‘healthier’ is more expensive and that’s just not the case. So many products that are good for you are sold in bulk packaging to reduce waste and cost of swapping products.
