My Favorites: Cleaner Air with Air Filters

In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it’s easy to overlook the invisible threats lurking within the comfort of our homes. From fragrances and phthalates to everyday appliances and pet dander, the air we breathe indoors can harbor pollutants that pose serious health risks. I have 3 different air filters in my house and I have each for a different reason. Below are my 3 favorite air filters and why I can’t live without them.

Air Doctor AD3000

Our living room is a larger space, open to the kitchen, and is the main spot where our pets (3 dogs) hang out during the day. It was important to me to have a very good quality air filter here that checks all the boxes. The Air Doctor AD3000 filters with both an UltraHEPA and carbon filter and boasts the ability to capture airborne particles as small as 0.003 microns in size.

Dyson Hot + Cold Air Purifier

We bought this for our little girl’s room when she finally started sleeping alone as a baby. She still often kicks the covers off and isn’t quite good at adjusting to cover herself up again. Living in Texas, the weather often swings drastically so the Dyson Hot + Cold has been a life saver to keep the temperature regulated in her room during both the hottest and coldest months of the year.

Levoit Air Purifier

This is the most affordable and compact option and was the first air filter we purchased. We bought it when our allergies started flaring up, sneezing and watery eyes, in our master bedroom. Our dogs sleep through the night in our room so we purchased the Pet Allergy Filter to address that specific need. It’s great for smaller rooms like a bedroom.
